Discover Greenock’s – Cut Above
This exhibition explains the work by civil engineer Robert Thom who designed and built the Greenock Cut in the 1820s to provide water to power the mills and factories of Greenock. The exhibition is interactive and open at the same time as the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre.
Castle Semple Estate
The display tells the story of the different owners, namely the Sempills, the MacDowalls, the Harveys. A large wall map of the estate shows how it looked in 1785. The exhibition is open at the same time as Castle Semple Visitor Centre.
Hen Harriers
A rare bird of prey, they return to the moors of Clyde Muirshiel each spring to breed. The display tells the story of how they hunt and raise their family on the moors. The display can be seen during the spring and summer months when Muirshiel Visitor Centre is open.
