A popular place for dog walkers, enjoying the fine views through mixed woodland. It is the source of the Locher Water - trails can be muddy.
Longer trails go into Ladymuir Plantation
Rough and often boggy access route to Windy Hill & Muirshiel Country Park
Look out for wildlife such as roe deer, black
and red grouse.
Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park
The Regional Park is managed by Clyde Muirshiel Park
Authority - a joint committee of Renfrewshire, Inverclyde
and North Ayrshire Councils.

The old farm house and buildings provide office and meeting room accommodation for Scotland's largest Regional Park.
