Butterfly Day this Sunday at Castle Semple
So with the weather looking a bit miserable for the next few days maybe its time for you to find something to brighten it up. Our answer to this if for you to come and join us for our butterfly day on Sunday the 24th of June from 1300-1600 at Castle Semple Visitor Centre in Lochwinnoch.
Butterflies are some of our most colourful and noticeable insects in Scotland. 
They are also a fantastic indicator to changes in our environment.
So we have decided to run a butterfly ID course which will help you to identify some of the butterflies found in the surrounding area. We will also look at surveying methods for butterflies by carrying out our weekly transect route to see what’s flying. (Weather dependant of course). So why not come and add a little brightness to your life. We’ll be happy to see you.
